Receive calls in your desktop with Pidgin

Although you can receive calls from Arpamet.com, you can also use desktop applications such as Empathy (Ubuntu), iChat (Mac) or Google Talk (Windows). In this post we will explain how to configure Pidgin:

Click on Accounts and Manage Accounts:

Now click on Add:

Introduce your Arpamet username (if you have signed in with Twitter, your username will probably be the same than in Twitter and you can choose your password in your Arpamet profile). Then click on Add:

From now on when someone call you will receive the message:

And finally, click on the link, your browser will open and the videoconference will start:
